Bears Host Wake Forest At 2 PM

The California women's basketball team (9-8, 0-4 ACC) will resume conference play when it hosts Wake Forest (12-5, 2-3) on Sunday at Haas Pavilion at 2 p.m. PT.  
 
This will be just the fifth overall meeting between the two teams with the series knotted at 2-2 and Cal having won the last two matchups. This will be the first time Cal will host Wake Forest.
 
Wake Forest is currently 12-5 and 2-3 in ACC play and are led by fourth-year head coach Megan Gebbia. The Deamon Deacons are led by Grace Oliver who paces the team in scoring at 13.6 points per game and was named the ACC Player of the Week on Dec. 29 after posting 30 points on 14-of-14 from the field against Gardner-Webb.
 
Sunday's game will stream on ACCNX with Ashlee Jones and Chris Sylvester on the call.

In the 78-74 loss to Duke on Thursday:
  • For the first time this season, two Bears posted double-doubles. Gisella Maul got her second of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds and Naya Ojukwu had her first in a Cal uniform with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
