Academic recognitions continue to come in for the California field hockey team as 12 members of the squad earned National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NHFCA) National Academic Squad honors led by Morgan Kallmann and Olivia Sharratt, who earned the distinction for the fourth consecutive year. Seven Golden Bears earned ACC All-Academic honors that were announced in January.
 
Tina Jolly, Holly Pears and Audrey Post earned the honor for the third time while Mia DiGiulio, Maya Hoepfner, Jessica Lewis and Hannah Ward received the recognition for the second time.
 
The NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
 
In addition, freshman Emma Becker and Ward, a sophomore, earned the prestigious NFHCA Scholars of Distinction honor, which celebrates student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the fall semester. They were among 341 Division I field hockey players across the country and 34 within the ACC to receive the elevated academic distinction.
