Bears in 12th Place After Day Two

Lihue, Hawai'i - California men's golf ended in 12th place at the end of the second day of the John A. Burns Invitational at the Ocean Course at Hokuala.
 
The Bears finished the first round shooting a six-over-par 286, and are currently two shots back of San Diego State for 11th place. Sophomore Ziqin Zhou led the Bears, shooting a one-under-par 69 for the second day in a row. Zhou finished the day in ninth place with a two day total of 138.
 
Freshman Xihuan Chang and redshirt sophomore Sihao Cong finished the day at 2-over-par 142, both tied for 30th place after shooting a three-over-par 73 and one-over-par 71 in the second round, respectively.
 
After round two, LMU and Texas A&M lead the pack shooting an eight-under-par 552.
 
The Bears will resume action tomorrow at 9 a.m. HT / 11 a.m. PT.
