20 Earn Lacrosse All-ACC Academic Team Honors
Golden Bears’ Total Number Of Honorees Ties For Most In Conference
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The California lacrosse team had 20 student-athletes selected to the 2026 All-ACC Academic Team announced Thursday by the Atlantic Coast Conference. Cal's 20 student-athletes equaled Clemson and Louisville for the most by any of the ACC's 13 women's lacrosse programs.
"Having 20 All-ACC Academic Team selections is a testament to the dedication and discipline of our student-athletes," Cal head coach
Jennifer Wong said. "They have excelled in demanding majors while balancing the demands of travel and ACC competition. Their achievements reflect UC Berkeley's commitment to academic excellence and their determination to succeed in the classroom and on the field."
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
