2022 (Outdoor): Competed in eight meets for the Bears… ran the anchor leg of the (tied) seventh-best 4x100m squad in program history, posting a time of 39.91 at the Big Meet… won the 4x100m relay competition at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational with a combined time of 40.05… posted a time of 10.62 in the 100m dash at the Stanford Invitational… at the Aztec Invitational, raced to a time of 21.89 in the 200m dash.

2022 (Indoor): Appeared in five meets for the Bears… posted a 60m dash time of 6.83 at the Pac-12 Invitational… at the WSU Open, took first place in the 60m dash with a time of 6.87… finished the 60m dash in 6.84 at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational.

2021 (Outdoor): Competed in eight meets… at the Pac-12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships, ran a personal-best 10.64 in the 100m dash… set the Pac-12’s 23^rd-best mark of the season with his personal-best 200m time of 21.43 at the Big Meet… that time was good for third place… also took second place in the 100m dash at that meet with a wind-aided time of 10.54… finished second and third, respectively, in the 200m dash (21.97) and 100m dash (10.83) at the Cal-USC Dual… at the Trojan Invitational, posted a second-place time of 21.63 in the 200m dash… was part of the winning 4x100m relay team at the Cal-Sac State Dual that finished the race in 41.05.

2021 (Indoor): Raced in three meets for the Bears… ran the 60m dash in 6.78 at the Air Force Collegiate Open, a first-place effort that tied for the fourth-best time in school history… also took first in that meet’s 200m dash with a time of 21.99… previously ran the 60m dash in 6.84 at the Air Force Invitational, which was good for second place and a seventh-place tie on the school’s all-time list.

AMERICAN RIVER: As a member of the 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams, won both races at the 2020 ARC Beaver Relays with composite times of 43.06 and 3:25.81, respectively… also took second in the 100m dash (11.27) and third in the 200m dash (23.08) at that meet… finished first in the 4x100m relay with a combined time of 42.39 at the 2020 Trell’s 49er Invitational, where he also finished second in the 100m dash (10.99) and third in the 200m dash (22.45)… at the 2020 Jim Linthicum Invitational, competed in the long jump (5.95m/19-6.25), the 100m (10.91) and the 200m (22.15)… competed in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) State Championships in 2019 as a member of American River’s 4x100m relay squad… at the 2019 NorCal Championships, ran the 100m dash in a wind-aided 10.78.

HIGH SCHOOL: Qualified for the 2018 California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Finals in the 100m and 200m dashes… 2018 Monticello Empire League (MEL) Champion in the 100m dash and 200m dash… competed in the 4x100m relay at that year’s Arcadia Invitational… 2017 MEL 100m Champion… raced in the 4x100m relay in 2016 at the CIF-Sac Joaquin Section Masters Finals… placed fourth in the 100m dash at the 2015 MEL Finals.

PERSONAL: Majoring in sociology with the intent of pursuing a career in marketing and photography… son of Samuel Catlin and Joy Layson.
