2023 (Outdoor): USTFCCCA Honorable Mention… appeared in seven meets… competed in the decathlon at the NCAA Outdoor Championships… posted a long jump mark of 7.58m (24-10.5) at the Pac-12 Championships, the eighth-farthest in the conference that season… won the long jump at the 128th Big Meet with a mark of 7.45m (24-5.5)… collected 7655 points in the decathlon at the Mt. SAC Relays, 24th-most in Division I that year… ran the 110m hurdles in 14.00 seconds at the Stanford Invitational, fifth-fastest in the conference that year.
2023 (Indoor): Second Team All-American… competed in four meets for the Bears… at the NCAA Indoor Championships, totaled 5052 points in the heptathlon to finish 12th overall… finished third in both the 60m hurdles (7.91) and the long jump (7.38m/24-2.5) at the Ken Shannon Last Chance Invitational, the former of which ranks seventh in program history… won the heptathlon at the WSU Open with a score of 5870 that ranks second in program history and was 14th in the NCAA… at that meet, he set The Podium facility records in the heptathlon 60m (6.84), long jump (7.04m/23-1.25), shot put (14.31m/46-11.5) and 60m hurdles (7.95)… also set personal bests in the high jump (2.01m/6-7) and pole vault (4.62m/15-1.75) at that meet… posted the eighth-farthest long jump in program history at the New Mexico Team Open with his second-place leap of 7.51m (24-7.75).
2022: USTCCCA Honorable Mention... competed in seven outdoor meets for the Bears… posted a total of 6958 in the decathlon at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, with third-place finishes in the 100m dash (10.68), the long jump (7.35m/24-1.5) and the 110m hurdles (14.26)… raced to a personal-best time of 13.89 in the 110m hurdles at the Pac-12 Championships… won the 110m hurdles (14.76), long jump (7.38m/24-2.5) and 4x400m relay (3:11.94) contests at the Big Meet… at the Mt. SAC Relays, put together the nation’s ninth-best decathlon score of 7941, fourth-best in program history, that also included the sixth-fastest 100m time (10.42) and ninth-fastest 400m time (46.36) in school history as well as additional PRs in the shot put (14.19m/46-6.75), javelin throw (49.29m/161-8) and 1500m run (4:33.05)… posted a personal-best mark of 4.61m (15-1.5) in the pole vault at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational… at the Stanford Invitational, leapt to a long jump PR of 7.58m/24-10.5).
2021 (Outdoor): Competed in eight outdoor meets… at the Pac-12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships, scored the third-most points in the Pac-12 that season in the decathlon with 6936… in the process, placed first in the 100m dash (10.71), the long jump (7.55m/24-9.25), the 400m dash (48.22), the high jump (1.97m/6-5.5) and the 110m hurdles (14.46)… his 100m, 400m, and long jump marks were personal bests, while he also set a personal record in the 1500m race (4:42.61)… was part of the winning 4x400m relay team at the Big Meet, posting a combined time of 3:13.40… set the Pac-12’s seventh-best mark of the season in the long jump (7.45m/24-5.5) and 10th-best time in the 110m hurdles (14.30) at the Jim Click Shootout… posted a new personal record in the pole vault with a leap of 4.35m (14-3.25) at the Stanford Invitational, the conference’s 25th-best mark of the season… took third place in the long jump at the Aztec Invitational with his leap of 7.00m (22-11.75).
2021 (Indoor): Competed in three meets for the Bears… won the heptathlon with 5435 points at the Championships at the Peak, taking first in the long jump (7.25m/23-9.5) and 60m hurdles (8.16) sections… his 60m hurdles time was a personal best... at the Air Force Collegiate Open, placed second in the 60m hurdles with his time of 8.27… took second place in the long jump at the Air Force Invitational, posting a leap of 7.27m (23-10.25)… also set a personal record in the high jump at that meet with a mark of 2.00m (6-6.75).
2020 (Outdoor): Appeared in one meet… set a personal best in the discus throw with a mark of 10.16m (131-9) at the Cal Opener.
2020 (Indoor): Appeared in three meets for the Bears… set a new personal record in the heptathlon with his second-place total of 5626 points at the MPSF Indoor Championships… his winning 60m event time in that competition of 6.93 was a personal record, as were his 100m time (2:40.59) and his pole vault mark (4.30m/14-1.25)… set new personal bests of 7.31m (23-11.75) in the long jump and 8.24 in the 60m hurdles at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational… at the UW Invitational, posted two event wins in the heptathlon, finishing the 60m dash in 7.00 and throwing the shot put 13.95m (45-9.25).
2019: Competed in six outdoor meets… ranked 31st in the NCAA in the decathlon… at the USA Track & Field (USATF) U20 Championships, competed in the decathlon and won the 100m (10.98) and the 400m (50.40) portions… took second place in the decathlon at the Pac-12 Championships with a personal-best point total of 7259… won two events in that competition, posting a best high jump of 1.92m (6-3.5) and a wind-aided 110m hurdles time of 14.61… came first in the decathlon at the Bryan Clay Invitational, winning the long jump (7.29m/23-10.25) and the 110m hurdles (14.57) events on his way to a total of 7033 points… set a new PR in the javelin throw at the Big Meet, posting a top heave of 47.99m (157-5)… at the Hornet Invitational, placed first in seven of 10 events in the decathlon, earning a winning total of 7159 points… won the long jump competition at the Cal Opener, leaping 7.09m (23-3.25).
HIGH SCHOOL: Named the Top Track & Field Athlete in the Chattanooga Area in both 2017 and 2018… McCallie High School decathlon record-holder… 2017 and 2018 Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Division II Decathlon State Champion… at the 2018 TSSAA Division II East Regional, placed first in the 100m, 400m, high jump and long jump competitions… at the previous year’s East Regional, finished first in the 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles, high jump and triple jump contests… reached the TSSAA Division II State Track & Field Championships in his sophomore year, competing in the decathlon and in the 300m hurdles after winning the decathlon at that year’s East Sectional… in 2015, took second in the decathlon at the TSSAA Division II East Sectional… also played football and basketball for the Tornado.
PERSONAL: Majored in data science... Son of Lucy Guerrero and Patrick McMorris... His brother Malik McMorris graduated from Cal and competed on the Cal track & field and football teams.
