Biography

2022 (Outdoor): Raced in seven meets for Cal… ran the 400m dash in 54.57 at the Pac-12 Championships… took second with a personal-best time of 54.15 in the 400m at the Big Meet… had a 400m time of 55.04 at the Mt. SAC Relays… posted a personal-best 24.27 in the 200m at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational and won the 400m race with her time of 54.72.

2022 (Indoor): Appeared in five meets for the Bears… set a PR of 55.54 in the 400m dash at the Pac-12 Invitational, sixth-fastest in Cal history… finished third in the 400m dash at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational with a time of 56.51… raced to a personal-best 25.17 in the 200m dash at the WSU Open… at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational, finished the 200m dash in 25.29.

HIGH SCHOOL: Won the 2021 Foot Locker Scholar Athlete Award… holds the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) State records in the 200m dash and the 400m dash… competed in the 200m dash and 400m dash at the 2021 Outdoor Nationals Presented by Nike… won SCISA State titles in the 200m dash, the 400m dash, and the 4x400m relay in 2021 while also taking second place in the 100m dash… raced in the 200m dash, the 400m dash, and the 4x400m relay at the 2019 Virginia High School League (VHSL) 6A State Outdoor Track & Field Championships… competed in that year’s New Balance Nationals Indoor in the 200m dash, the 400m dash and the 4x200m relay… qualified for the VHSL 6A State Championships in the 300m dash after taking first in the event at the Patriot District Championship… also won the 500m race at the District Championships… in 2018, entered the 400m, the 4x100m relay, the 4x400m relay and the sprint medley relay races, the latter of which earned her New Balance All American status, at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor… that year, helped her squad to a second-place finish in the 4x400m relay and a third-place finish in the 4x100m relay at the VHSL 6A State Championship, where she also competed in the 400m dash… at that year’s New Balance Nationals Indoor, raced in the 400m dash… at the 2018 VHSL Class 6A State Indoor Championships, finished second in the 4x400m relay… was a member of Trust the Process Athletics.

PERSONAL: Majoring in sociology & media studies with plans to pursue a law career… featured in the Washington Post and Teen Vogue for her work as a Black Lives Matter activist… daughter of Alex and Agatha Conyers.
