2025: Second-Team All-American... competed in six indoor meets for Cal… posted a 60m time of 6.62 at the NCAA Indoor Championships, placing 15th… won the ACC 60m title with a time of 6.56, outracing the field by .08 seconds and earning All-ACC First Team honors… won the 60m at the New Mexico Team Open with a time of 6.57… at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational, took the 60m title at 6.61… posted a time of 21.22 in the 200m at the Spokane Indoor Challenge, third-fastest in Cal history… matched his school-record 60m time of 6.54 at the Spokane Sports Showcase, which was the fastest time in the ACC that year and tied for 11th-fastest in Division I… was named ACC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for that performance... Indoor All-ACC Academic... ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2024 (Outdoor): Reached the 100m semifinals at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials, finishing 22nd with a time of 10.23… Second-Team All-American in both the 100m and the 4x100m relay… competed in nine meets for the Bears… at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, finished 14th in the 100m with a time of 10.28 and anchored the 4x100m squad to a 12th-place finish, shattering the school record at 38.90… became the first Cal man past or present to break the 10-second barrier in any conditions, racing to a wind-aided 9.91 in the 100m at the NCAA West Preliminary… ranked 12th in the nation in the 100m dash… set the current school 100m record of 10.14 at the Pac-12 Championships… named the Pac-12 Men’s Track Athlete of the Week on May 7… won the 100m (10.25), 200m (21.16) and 4x100m (39.46) at the 129th Big Meet, the second of which was a personal best and the third of which was a new meet record… at the Mt. SAC Relays, anchored the 4x100m squad to a winning 39.56 and also ran the 100m in 10.16… posted wind-aided 100m times of 10.06 and 10.11, as well as a 4x100m time of 39.31, at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.
2024 (Indoor): Second-Team All-American… competed in four meets… placed 11th at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a 60m time of 6.63m in the preliminary round, where he became Cal’s first male sprinter ever to race at that meet… broke his own 60m school record in every meet prior to the championships… took second place in the 60m at the Ken Shannon Invitational with a time of 6.54, the eighth-fastest time in the nation… won the 60m at the Don Kirby Invitational, crossing the finish line in 6.54… at the New Mexico Team Open, raced to a winning time of 6.56 in the 60m.
2023 (Outdoor): Appeared in eight meets for the Bears… ran the 100m in 10.42 at the NCAA West Preliminary… ran the first leg of the winning 4x100m squad (39.98) at the 128th Big Meet… won the 100m dash at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational with a time of 10.33… at the 95th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, finished the 100m in 10.30, second-fastest in program history and ninth in the Pac-12 that year… set a new meet record at the Cardinal Classic, finishing the 100m in 10.34.
2023 (Indoor): Raced in three meets for the Bears… broke the 60m program record for the second time at the Ken Shannon Last Chance Invitational, running a third-place 6.62… at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational, broke the all-time 60m program record with a time of 6.65 in the preliminary… posted a personal-best 200m time of 21.55, tied for eighth-fastest in program history, at the New Mexico Team Open.
2022 (Outdoor): Bronze medalist at the World U20 Athletics Championships… Team USA’s 4x100m relay squad, with Foster as the third leg, posted a qualifying round time of 39.78 at that meet… took fourth in the 100m dash at the USA Track & Field (USATF) U20 Championships with a wind-legal personal best of 10.36… appeared in nine meets for Cal… raced to a time of 39.91 as the anchor leg of the 4x100m relay team at the Pac-12 Championships… posted a time of 39.91 as the last leg of the 4x100m relay team at the Big Meet… won the 100m dash at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational, finishing with the sixth-best time in program history (10.42)… also acted as the anchor leg of the winning 4x100m relay squad at that meet, posting a composite time of 40.05… posted a personal-best 200m time of 21.65 at the Stanford Invitational… finished second in the 100m at the Aztec Invitational with his time of 10.51.
2022 (Indoor): Appeared in four meets… raced to a time of 6.82 in the 60m dash at the Pac-12 Invitational… set the second-fastest 60m time in program history at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational with a finish of 6.74… won the 60m dash at the WSU Invitational with his time of 6.77.
HIGH SCHOOL: Owns the Katy Tompkins High School all-conditions 100m and 200m school records… competed in the 2021 Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) National Junior Olympic Games as a member of the Greater Houston Track Club, finishing runner-up in the 4x400m relay while also competing in the 4x100m relay… at the 2020 AAU Games, claimed a national championship in the 100m dash and also competed in the 200m dash… also claimed AAU titles in both the 17-18 4x100m and the 4x400m relays that year… in 2019, finished as a runner-up in the AAU Games’ 15-16 4x100m and 4x400m relays… he was named a 2017 All-Region III Bassist MileSplit Top 50 Athlete, coming in at number 11 on the list… graduated Katy Tompkins with high honors.
PERSONAL: Majored in data science… son of Dalton and Roslynn Foster… mother was a sprinter at Texas A&M.
