CAREER HIGHS:

2024: Competed in one outdoor meet for the Bears… at the Cal Opener, finished the 100m hurdles in 15.23 and the 100m in 13.58.

MERRITT: 100m hurdles runner-up at the 2023 Northern California Community College Championships… competed in the 100m hurdles at the USA Track & Field (USATF) National Junior Olympic Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was the 2018 and 2019 North Coast Section (NCS) Tri-Valley runner-up in the 100m hurdles… East Bay Athletic League (EBAL) 100m hurdles champion in 2019 and runner-up in 2018.

PERSONAL: Majored in interdisciplinary studies at Cal with aspirations of researching disease and genetics in graduate school… daughter of Tony Liao and Time Chen… father was a swimmer at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan… brother Ethan plays baseball at Gardner-Webb… uncle Shih-Wei (Ph.D) and aunts Lynn and Yungting also attended Cal.
