Solomon enters her SENIOR season with the Golden Bears and will compete for playing time as an outside hitter... she helped the USA A2 Red Team to an Adult Open title in Atlanta, Ga., over the summer.
2007
As a JUNIOR, Solomon logged a career-high 80 kills and 196 attacks (32e) hitting for .245... set a season high of 11 kills at Oregon State Oct. 5... hit for .400 or better in seven of the 18 matches in which she appeared.
2006
Solomon earned Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention as a SOPHOMORE... participated in eight matches and 11 games, recording 15 kills with a .250 hitting percentage (15k, 5e, 40att )... registered a season-high six kills with a .750 hitting percentage (6k, 0e, 8att) versus Oregon State Oct. 20.
2005
As a REDSHIRT FRESHMAN, Solomon was outstanding in only her second collegiate start Oct. 13 at Arizona State, hitting a team-best .550 with a career-high 13 kills and only two errors in 20 attacks... recorded four total blocks, including two solo blocks... notched a kill at Wisconsin in the NCAA second round.
2004
Solomon sat out the season with an injury, taking a medical redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
Solomon was selected the 2004 Student-Athlete of the Year at St. Bernard High School... a two-time team MVP in volleyball... also starred on the basketball team for three years... played for the Los Angeles Top Gun volleyball club team.

Am'ra LeeAnne Solomon was born in Los Angeles... parents are Richard and Sheryl Solomon... siblings include Kenya, 37, Ericka, 23, and Richard III, 15... majoring in social welfare and sociology.
