As a FRESHMAN, Obermeyer appeared in three matches and saw action in three sets... posted her first career assist against DePaul Sept. 6 in the Golden Bear Invitational... recorded a career-high five assists against Central Connecticut State Sept. 19.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
In 2007, Obermeyer received Blossom Valley Athletic League Senior of the Year honors, as a member of the all-league team after leading Westmont High School in Campbell, Calif. to the BVAL league championship... in 2006, she was selected BVAL Junior of the Year and led her team to a second-place finish... in 2005, earned All-BVAL second team honors... in 2004, earned All-BVAL second-team honors and selected the BVAL Freshman of the Year... earned the bronze medal at the 2003 Junior Olympics with teammate Ashley Roe... graduated as a lifetime 100 percent member of the California Scholastic Federation and as Campbell High School's valedictorian.
