Roe enters her SOPHOMORE season with the Golden Bears as a defensive specialist.
2008
As a FRESHMAN, Roe served as a backup setter and defensive specialist while appearing in five sets over the course of four matches... her first collegiate play was a service ace against Notre Dame Sept. 13 in the Diet Coke Classic Volleyball Invitational... posted a career-high three assists against Central Connecticut State Sept. 19.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
As a three-year letterwinner at Presentation High School in San Jose, Calif., Roe earned West Catholic Athletic League second-team honors as a senior in 2007... received the Coaches Award at her high school and was named to the Archbishop Mitty all-tournament team as well as the Division II Central Coast Section second-team... earned the bronze medal at the 2003 Junior Olympics with teammates Katherine Gorman and Kristin Obermeyer... also took bronze in 2007 with her club... participated in the 2006 USA youth national team training camp... served as the swim team manager... also ran track and field and has been an active gymnast for 11 years.
