BERKELEY - Kaitlyn Fitzpatrick scored the game-winning goals in the Golden Bears' two games over the weekend, making the freshman midfielder the California Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week.

In a weekend that was potentially the end of the 2010 season for the California women's soccer team, Kaitlyn Fitzpatrick rose to the occasion for a 2-0 win over Oregon on Friday and a 1-0 double-overtime victory over No. 13 Oregon State on Sunday. Against the Ducks, after 23:24 minutes of scoreless play, Fitzpatrick's goal established what would be a permanent lead. The score was her first as a Bear. She followed that up with a golden goal against No. 13 Oregon State on Sunday to propel the Bears to their first upset of a ranked opponent this season. In all, Fitzpatrick finished the weekend with five shots and two goals, both of which were gamewinners.
