Updated Cal WBB School Haas Rock

The California Women's Basketball team is set to host its annual School Haas Rock game when it faces Saint Mary's on Thursday, November 20 at 11:30 a.m. The annual event serves as an opportunity to entertain and educate local youth at the elementary and middle school levels and bring them into a university setting.

Geared towards classrooms, the event includes a special price of $5 per ticket. Educators are encouraged to sign up their classroom or school as early as possible by contacting 1-800-GO-BEARS. Students will have the option to bring their own lunch in  a clear plastic bag.

Before the game, students will take part in an educational assembly that features visits from the Golden Bear community, fun and exciting learning opportunities, and more. In addition to the assembly, kids will receive a workbook that introduces the women's basketball players to kids and highlights the different cultures that are on the team. Doors for the event will open at 10:00 a.m.

What To Bring and What Not To Bring

No backpacks/bags: please encourage students to bring as little as possible with them to the game. Anything that can be left in the classroom or on the bus will help us expedite the arrival process. If you have specific questions, feel free to reach out, but we recommend everyone err on the side of caution and bring as few items as possible.

Please refrain from bringing hard plastic, glass, or metal bottles as those are prohibited.

Any fruit/food must be cut into pieces. (example: apples, oranges)

All students and educators will be subject to Haas Pavilion's standard security and screening policies. A clear bag policy is in effect. Click here for more information.

Bagged Lunches, Concessions & Food Policies

Students may also bring their own lunch to Haas Pavilion. Cal Athletics strongly encourages students to bring their lunch in a clear plastic bag. Reusable lunch boxes or containers will NOT be permitted.

Concession stands will be open for in-game food purchases, and will have your typical arena/ballpark food. We are a cashless venue, please plan accordingly.
