- Appeared in 15 games as a pinch-hitter and outfielder for the Bears.
- Had one hit for the Bears, a pinch-hit RBI double at Utah on April 13.
- Did not make an error and had three putouts and one assist as an outfielder.

- Native of Toronto, Ontario, Canada comes to Berkeley by way of Blinn College in Texas where he hit .353 with 10 home runs, 27 RBI, 38 runs, 31 walks and a team-high .474 on-base percentage in 2016.
- Attended high school at Bishop Allen Academy in Toronto and was drafted in the 35th round of the 2014 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft by the Oakland A’s.
- Set school records in hits, average, on-base percentage, steals, OPS and triples while at Bishop Allen Academy.
- Also competed in track and field in 2012.
- Would one day like to open his own business.
- Parents are Nicole and Brian Swift. Has four siblings – Sean Swift, Jordan Quinn, Danielle Swift and Chelsea Burke.
