Colton Seike

Colton Seike joined Cal Athletics in April 2022 and currently serves as the Senior Director of Sports Operations. In his role, Seike provides operational leadership and administrative oversight within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, supporting the daily execution and strategic coordination of multiple varsity sport programs.

Prior to his tenure at Cal, Seike spent nearly a decade with the San Francisco Giants organization, holding a variety of positions across Baseball Operations, Player Development, Team Travel, and Clubhouse Operations. During his time with the Giants, he worked closely with player development leaders through Spring Training, the MLB Draft, contract management, and the day-to-day operations of the club’s affiliates across the United States. Seike was part of the organization during its 2014 World Series championship season, the franchise’s third title in six years.

A Bay Area native, Seike earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism, with minors in Philosophy and Radio, Television & Film, from San José State University in 2015. He went on to receive his Master of Arts in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco in 2018.
Originally from San Mateo, California, and a graduate of Junípero Serra High School—alma mater to notable athletes Tom Brady, Barry Bonds, and Lynn Swann—Seike now resides in San Francisco.Â
