Juan Diego Catholic HS (Class Of 2020)/Modesto Christian (2016-18)
– A two-way player on the defensive line and at tight end throughout his prep career
– Earned first-team Class 3A All-State honors and was unanimously voted team captain by his coaches and fellow players in his lone season at Juan Diego Catholic HS as a 2020 senior when he had 91 tackles and 8.0 sacks as a defensive lineman, while adding 13 receptions for 225 yards and two touchdown grabs as a tight end for a team that finished 6-6 overall and reached the quarterfinals of the state’s Class 3A postseason
– Invited to play in the All-American Bowl and Polynesian Bowl after his 2019 senior campaign
– Spent his first two varsity prep seasons as a 2017 sophomore and 2018 junior at Modesto Christian HS
– Racked up the honors as a junior earning first-team All-Junior State, Trans Valley League Defensive Lineman of the Year, Modesto Bee All-District, first-team All-TVL and team Defensive Lineman of the Year selections, in addition to multiple weekly honors when he had 81 tackles, 14.0 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, 13 quarterback hurries, two passes defended, one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries on defense, while adding 10 catches for 181 yards and three touchdowns on offense for a team that was 10-2 overall, shared a TVL title with a 5-1 conference mark and reached the semifinals of the Division VI Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs
