• A two-time first-team All-Western League selection that combined for 3,916 all-purpose yards and 39 total touchdowns along with three two-point conversions to total 240 points during his two varsity campaigns as a 2014 junior and 2015 senior
• Broke career all-purpose yards totals included rushing for 2,880 yards and 36 touchdowns on 319 carries while adding 258 yards on 11 receptions, 390 kick return yards and 388 punt return yards
• A CalHiSports.com All-State nominee as a senior who earned first-team All-Western League honors for the second consecutive season and added second-team All-San Diego Section recognition from the San Diego Hall of Champions by rushing for 1,361 yards and 13 touchdowns on 191 carries in his first campaign at running back, while adding nine receptions for 236 yards receiving and three touchdown catches to total 1,597 all-purpose yards and also throwing three scoring passes for a team that finished 10-3 overall record and reached the San Diego Section Division III Championship Game
• A first-team All-Western League selection for the first time as a junior when he totaled 2,319 all-purpose yards in several roles including primarily a running quarterback, rushing for 1,519 yards and 23 touchdowns on 128 carries from his signal-caller spot with four 200-plus yard rushing games and seven 100-plus yard rushing contests, as well as 390 kickoff return yards, 388 punt return yards and four receptions for 22 yards, in addition to 630 yards in the air on 34-of-57 passing with two scoring throws and one pick, as well as three rushing conversions to total 144 points, while also punting three times for a 36.0 yard average
• Single-game season highs as a junior included 445 all-purpose yards and 130 punt return yards against San Diego, 273 yards rushing and five touchdowns against Kearney with the five scores happening for the third and final time of his career, 170 passing yards against Point Loma, 140 kick return yards against Madison, three two-point rushing conversions against Kearny and all three of his career punts and 108 punt yards coming against Point Loma
• A second-team All-Western League selection in baseball as a 2015 junior, hitting .398 with five homers, 13 RBI and six stolen bases while scoring 33 runs over 28 contests for a team that reached a play-in game of the San Diego Section Open Division playoffs
• Wore No. 2 in both football and baseball
• Attended the same high school as Houston Texans’ running back Arian Foster
