Klumph has played in all 18 possible games at Cal off the bench since his first action on the field in 2016 after redshirting in 2015 and has a 44.2 career punt average that is on top of Cal's all-time list. Klumph's 44.8 punt average as a 2016 sophomore is fourth in single-season school history and was second in the Pac-12 and eighth nationally while his current 43.0 mark through the first five games of his 2017 junior campaign is ninth in school history. He was also a national semifinalist for the 2016 Mortell Award honoring the nation's top holder. Before arriving at Cal, Klumph shared punting and kicking duties for one season at Golden West College in 2014 after doing the same as a 2013 prep senior. He was also one of the top punters for two consecutive years at Chris Sailer Kicking highlighted by winning a junior college/ transfer competition in Las Vegas in 2015 and California summer camp overall and punt winner crowns in 2014.
