As a Sophomore (2017): 14 starts in 16 total appearances for the Bears, tallying 7 points on 3 goals and 1 assist…Fourth among the Bears with her 3 goals…Scored her first goal of the season against Michigan State (8/28) and added another in Cal’s shutout of Bryant (9/8)…Hit the game-winning goal against Fairfield (9/23), and added an assist against the Stags for 3 total points…First career defensive save came against No. 5 Penn State (10/7)…Started in Cal’s AE Tournament contest against New Hampshire (11/3) and tallied one shot…America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection with a grade point average above 3.5

Personal: Parents are John and Gretchen…Has two siblings, Griffin and Gracie…Both mother Gretchen Scheel Jimenez (1983-1986) and aunt Kristen Scheel Frantz (1984-1987) played field hockey for Cal…Gretchen was captain of the 1986 team, was All-Conference and an All-Region selection and received the 1987 All-California award…Gretchen’s freshman year was head coach Shellie Onstead’s first year as an assistant coach for the Bears…Father John and Uncle Mike Frantz also attended Cal…Another uncle, Jeff Scheel, played rugby at Stanford…Hobbies include hiking, baking, and neflixing… Participated in Soccer, Softball, and Volleyball…Enjoys hiking, baking and watching Netflix…Coached for Carmel Valley Junior High
