Denis Hallin is in the sixth season of his second stint with the Cal football program in 2021 and his fifth campaign in the role of Director of Football Operations. During his two tenures, Hallin has been a part of eight bowl teams at Cal, including the 2006 Cal team that was co-Pac-10 champions.

Prior to returning to Berkeley, Hallin served as the Director of Football Operations at UC Davis from 2013-15, under former Cal assistant coach Ron Gould.

While at UC Davis, Hallin oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Aggie football program, including travel arrangements, operational and fundraising budgeting, and assisted in all aspects of football recruiting.

In his first tenure at Cal from 2004-12, Hallin was an administrative assistant with the Cal football program. In that role, he also focused on advance travel arrangements and all areas of operations for the Golden Bears.

Hallin began his career in the athletics business office at Cal in 2000 after graduating from UC Santa Barbara that same year with a bachelor's degree in sociology.

A native of Oakland, Calif., Hallin and his wife, Keri, are parents to daughters Sydney and Morgan. They also have two dogs, Jena and Jordan.
