Kevin Shubow is in his first year as an assistant athletic trainer at Cal in 2019. Shubow comes to Berkeley after spending the 2018 season as a seasonal athletic trainer for the New York Jets in the NFL. 

Shubow was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Virginia, working primarily with the football team. He earned his Master's in education, kinesiology-athletic training at Virginia in 2018. While at UVA, Shubow conducted research that will be published in the Journal of Athletic Training. 

He earned his bachelor's in science, athletic training from the University of North Florida in 2017, graduating magna cum laude. While at North Florida, Shubow served as an athletic training student for the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2016-17. 

Shubow officially became a certified athletic trainer in May 2017.
