Mario Dias Jr. is in his second season as the assistant equipment manager for Cal football in 2020.
Prior to coming to Berkeley, Dias. Jr. served as the head equipment manager for the football program at Austin Peay for the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
While at Austin Peay, he also served as the head equipment manager for the Tennessee East West All-Star Game.
Dias Jr. worked at American University from 2016-17, originally being hired assistant equipment manager before being promoted to interim head equipment manager seven months into his tenure.
A native of Ohio, Dias Jr. graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's of Science in sports administration in 2016. He served as the head student football equipment manager there, as well as as equipment intern before heading to American University.
