Park came to Cal after playing multiple sports as a prep at St. George's School in Vancouver, British Columbia. He did not play in the fall of 2015 as he continues to adjust to the collegiate level of golf. Prior to arriving at Cal, he had a strong junior career that included 2014 victories at the AJGA Lessing's Classic Open and MJT Season Opener (70-74 – 144).
