One of the longest hitters in college golf...continues to improve.
FALL 2007: Finished fall season with a 75.6 stroke average over seven rounds in three events...finished 51st at the Falcon Invitational (76-75-74 - 225, +9) and 53rd at the Husky Invitational (77-82 - 159, +15).
AS A JUNIOR (2006-07): Selected to the Pac-10 All-Academic First Team...averaged 76.2 over nine rounds in three events...finished 54th at the Western Intercollegiate (74-75-76 - 225, +15)...tied for 57th at the Duck Invitational (74-79-81 - 234, +18)...finished tied for 81st at the CordeValle Collegiate (77-75-75 - 227, +11).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2005-06): Transferred to Cal from College of the Desert in Palm Desert, Calif....competed in 17 rounds with a scoring average of 74.5...best finish was a 23rd-place tie at the Pac-10 Championship, shooting 74-72-73-73 - 292 (+8)...tied for 29th at the Western Intercollegiate (71-78 149, +9)...tied for 35th at the US Intercollegiate (75-75 - 150, +10).
AS A FRESHMAN (2004-05): At College of the Desert, had four Top 5 finishes, including a third place at the Rio Hondo Invitational with score of 72.
AMATEUR: In 2007, won the Diablo Valley Amateur (69-73- 142) and the Monterey Bay Championship (76-74 - 150)...finished second at the Arkansas State Match Play Championship...finished 16th at the SCGA Amateur (73-72-71-69 - 285)...finished tied for 17th at the California State Fair (66-71-74 - 211)...qualified for the Southern Amateur (71)...qualified for Match Play in the NCGA Match Play Championship...in 2006, won the Roddy Ranch Invitational (71-71 - 152)...finished second at the Livermore Valley Championship (78-74 - 152) and the North Orange County Amateur (71-70 - 141)...finished fifth at the Long Beach Match Play shooting 73-67 - 140 and defeating Dale Bollin, Scott Carlyle and Ryan Citarella...finished fifth at the San Diego County Amateur (72-74 - 144)...finished tied for sixth place at the Silicon Valley Amateur Championship (74-77 - 151)...tied for 16th at the California State Fair Championship (72-71-68 - 211)...in 2005, placed fourth at Napa City Championship (76-73 - 149)...tied for fifth at the Roddy Ranch Championship (76-75 - 151)...tied for fifth at the Metropolitan Golf Championship (72-72 - 144)...qualified for Northern California Golf Association Match Play Championship with score of 74.
