Fer Play,  A Cal Men's Soccer Blog

Fall 2021: Was named the recipient of a Walter A. Haas Jr. Community Service Award, an annual award given to a student-athlete for his or her outstanding contribution to community service…Andrade was honored after co-founding Ecumenic, a non-profit that gathered donations of blankets and socks to distribute to immigrants, lower-resource families and a Mexican orphanage…the busy Bear also continued writing his CalBears.com blog, Fer Play, as well as hosting his podcast, Denting with Fer Andrade…also strong in the classroom, Andrade was named to the Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll.

Spring 2021: Played in three games off the bench… a political science major aspiring to do a double major with business administration, Andrade started writing “Fer Play,” a Cal men’s soccer blog, for CalBears.com, giving insight and behind the scenes details about the Bears during the unprecedented spring regular season.

2019: Redshirted.

Personal/Previous: Political science major...led St. Augustine High School to the 2017 CIF Open Division championship...Andrade and current Cal teammate Arman Samimi were teammates for Albion SC in San Diego.
