Biography
As a Junior (2016-17): Appeared in all but one game for the Golden Bears, making 25 starts… Ranked second on the team on in rebounds per game (5.3) and blocked shots (30), both of which were new career bests… Averaged a career-high in points (6.5 PPG).. Scored a career-high 19 points in Cal’s double-overtime loss to Arizona State, also matching her career bests in three-pointers (3) and steals (3)… Registered her first career double-double in the Bears’ Pac-12 opener at Arizona, pulling down a career-high 14 rebounds to go with 12 points… Blocked a career-high six shots against Colorado on January 13, while also adding 8 points and 8 rebounds … Had 17 points and nine rebounds off the bench on February 7 against USC to help the Bears complete the weekend sweep of USC and UCLA …. Scored Cal’s first basket of the 2016-16 season, connecting on a three-pointer against Saint Mary’s
As a Sophomore (2015-16): Appeared in all 32 games for the Golden Bears, making eight starts…Averaged 5.4 points and 4.0 rebounds and was second on the squad with 26 blocks…Scored in double figures in seven games…Ended the season with two double-figure games in three appearances at the Pac-12 Tournament, including career-high totals in points (17) against Arizona State (March 4) and rebounds (9) against Utah (March 3)…Put up 11.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game in the Pac-12 Tournament….Went 7-8 from the floor in her personal-best 17-point performance vs. Arizona State (March 4)….Was one board shy of a double-double with a 12-point, 9-rebound performance in the March 3 game vs. Utah….Matched a career-high two steals thrice this season, at Utah (Feb. 19), and in both Stanford games…Logged back-to-back 13 point outings in two starts at UCLA (Jan. 22) and USC (Jan. 24)…Career-high four assists in four games, starting with Cal Poly on Nov. 22…Set a career-high block total (3) against Saint Mary’s (Dec. 5) and matched it vs. Utah (March 5)….Earned her first career start against Cal Poly on Nov. 22…Led the Bears in rebounds in the season opener at Austin Peay State (Nov. 13)
As a Freshman (2014-15): One of four players to play in all 34 games for the Golden Bears ... averaged 3.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per game ... led the Bears with a .400 three-point percentage (10-of-25) … scored on her first three-point attempt of the season to finish with three points against Nevada (Nov. 18) … scored nine points while earning her first career blocked shot and steal against San Jose State (Nov.28) … had a career-high 15 points bolstered by a 3-of-4 effort from the three-point line along with a career-best four rebounds and two steals to open Pac-12 play against Utah (Jan. 3) … played a season-high 26 minutes against the Utes and two days later against Colorado (Jan. 5), scoring seven points against the Buffs … had a streak of 10 consecutive games with a point that started with an eight-point effort at Washington (Jan. 11), going 15-of-31 from the field in that stretch … hit double figures scoring against Arizona (Jan. 18) … hit the game-winning shot at the buzzer to knock off No. 10 Arizona State in Tempe (Feb. 8) in a 50-49 win … had a career-best two blocked shots at Oregon (Feb. 26).
International: A member of the New Zealand Women’s National Team ... competed at the 2013 FIBA Oceania Championships, scoring five points and pulling down eight rebounds for the Tall Ferns in the championship series against the Australia senior national team that was coming off a bronze medal finish at the London Olympics while being led by seven-time WNBA All-Star Lauren Jackson ... at the youth level, has competed for the U-16, U-17 and U-19 New Zealand teams ... was named the New Zealand Player of the Tournament at the 2012 FIBA Oceania Women’s Under-19 tournament when she averaged 14.7 points per game for the Junior Tall Ferns ... also competed for New Zealand at the 2012 Four Nations Challenge in China, averaging 15 points and 9.2 rebounds per game in nine total contests against China, the United States and Australia ... was named to the final All-Tournament team as one of just two non-Americans given the honor at the international event.
High School: Was named the 2012 and 2013 ASB (Auckland Secondary School Association) Young Sportsperson of the Year for basketball ... played club basketball for the Waitakere Lady Rangers of the WBC (Women’s Basketball Championship) after competing for the Auckland Lady Hawks where she averaged 13.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game ... led Waitakere to the 2013 national title and was named Tournament MVP after scoring 33 points with 14 rebounds, three assists and three blocks in the championship game.
