As a Redshirt Senior (2017):
Started 41 of 49 games rotating from the outfield and designated player on the lineup… Notched a .219 batting average, connecting for 21 hits, 16 runs and 15 RBIs… Finished perfectly in stolen base attempts going 5-5... Recorded a season-high three RBIs at Utah (4/7)… Opened the season with a game-winning two RBI triple in Cal’s 10-8 win over Georgia Tech (2/11) in Puerto Rico.

As a Senior (2016):
Redshirted the season to recover from injury.

As a Junior (2015):

50 appearances with 45 starts in the outfield…Batted .288 with four doubles, three triples and two homers plus 16 RBIs…Suffered a season-ending leg injury at Oregon…Batted .500 in the Washington series, including her first Pac-12 home run of 2015 on April 25…Registered two hits and an RBI on April 18 against UCLA… Had the game-winning hit against UNLV on April 12… Had the game-winning hit against UNLV on April 12… Had the game-winning hit against UNLV on April 12… Had the game-winning hit against UNLV on April 12… Had the game-winning hit against UNLV on April 12…Hit the game-winning two-run homer in Cal’s season opener vs. BYU; was 1-for-1 with two walks and three RBIs in that game.

Appeared in 41 games with 32 starts, serving in every spot in the outfield…Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention…Ended the season on a seven-game hitting streak with a .309 batting average overall…Second on the team for her batting average during conference play at .339…Turned in six multiple-hit games and two multiple-RBI games….444 (4-for-9) performance in the Utah series…Hit her first career collegiate grand slam vs. Arizona (4/12) to lift Cal to 9-1 (6) victory over then-No. 9 Arizona; Also tallied a career-high 4 RBIs…Batted .625 (5-for-8) in the Arizona series…Career-high four hits at Oregon State (3/30), where she went 4-for-5 with 2 runs, 2 RBIs and a double

As a Freshman (2013):

Started in all 49 games she appeared in, playing mostly at right field but also pitching in three games...Starting right fielder for all four games of the Ann Arbor Regional...Earned first collegiate start in the circle vs. Stanford (5/5), pitching 5.1 innings with two strikeouts, three walks, nine hits and seven runs... Went 2-for-2 and hit her first collegiate home run vs. Arizona State (4/28); the only Cal freshman to hit a home run in 2013... Hit an RBI double against Hawaii hurler Kaia Parnaby to drive in Cal's only run against the ranked Rainbow Wahine (3/14)...Started in the season opener vs. Kentucky (2/8).

High School:

As a senior, was named the Ms. Softball State Player of the Year and named to the All-State First-Team...Led Archbishop Mitty High School to the 2012 Central Coast Section Division II Championship with a 28-3 record...Also in 2012, Alvarez posted a 25-1 record with an 0.86 ERA with14 shutouts and 197 strikeouts...Closed her prep years by hitting .450 and scoring 27 runs as Mitty earned its second straight section title and 10th since 1990...Was the pitcher and player of the year as well as MVP of her prep team as a junior...Named sophomore of the year and first-team all-league in 2010...Was second-team all-league and freshman of the year...Led the team to finish first in league play all three years and first in the CSS as a freshman and junior...The Mitty squad was ranked first in the nation her freshman year...Mentored students at junior high and elementary schools...Manager for the boy's varsity basketball team at Mitty - kept stats, ran drills, organized tournaments
