2018: Did not compete.
2017: Competed in the long jump at the 2017 Cal Opener as he finished in fourth place with a wind-aided mark of 6.50m (21-4).
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Clovis West HS in Fresno...holds the school record in the 400 meters (48.62) and PR of 21.8 in the 200 meters...also spent time on Clovis West football team...activities outside of athletics included serving on the Mock Trial team (voted MVP) and Associated Student Body (President)...listed on school's athletic & academic honor roll
PERSONAL: Born 1/28/98...Parents are Jason and Lisa Bessard...has one old brothers, Noah, that attends UC Merced
