Fall 2024: Cal’s top returning scorer produced 12 points from four goals and a team-leading four assists…he ranked second on the team in points and tied for second in goals with Nonso Adimabua…Zalayet scored his first two collegiate goals in back-to-back games – a 2-1 loss to SMU and a 5-0 rout of Dominican…He also scored in a 2-1 win at No. 14 North Carolina in the ACC Championships quarterfinals and a 3-2 loss to No. 7 Clemson in the conference semifinals.

Personal/Previous: Undeclared major...a three-time member of the ECNL All-America team who led his Marin FC club to the NorCal ECNL championships in 2021 and 2022 and to the national semifinals in 2023...the Marin Independent Journal's Player of the Year after scoring 21 goals in all competitions in 2023, Zalayet led Marin Academy to the CIF Division IV NorCal championship in 2023 and to the CIF Division II NorCal title in 2022.
