Fall 2024: Talented right back started 14 of 16 games played and ranked eighth at Cal in minutes played (975)…earned the Luke Kreinberg North Star Achievement Award, which honors the legacy of the former Associate Director and career coach of the Haas Career Management Group, who was an influential and reflective practitioner, thought-provoking facilitator and visionary leader…Hopkins was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team for the second straight year…named to All-ACC Academic Team...tallied the first two assists (and points) of his college career against Saint Mary’s during the regular season and in the ACC Championship quarterfinal against North Carolina.

Fall 2023: The talented defender posted career bests in starts (11) and games played (18)…a product of Southern California, Hopkins scored his first career goal in a 1-1 tie at UCLA… named to the Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll and to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

Fall 2022: Named to the Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll...provided defensive depth for the Bears.

Fall 2021: Played in 10 games, starting three, and provided good depth on the backline in his first year as a Golden Bear.

Personal/Previous: Mechanical engineering major…parents are Allen Hopkins and Kimberly Antonio…his father, Allen, played soccer at Westmont College and is a former ESPN broadcaster who now works as the Executive Director of Black Players for Change…the beautiful game runs in the family, as Hopkins' older sister, Sydney, was an All-WCC defender and team captain at the University of San Diego…also has a younger sister, Siena, who wrestles at Camarillo High School.
