Janelle Allen will spend her first season with the Bears as Director of Volleyball Operations in 2023.
Allen attended Eastern Washington University, where she played both volleyball and basketball. She is a three-time All-Big Sky honoree in the former, including the 2002 MVP, and was also named All-Big Sky Honorable Mention in basketball. During her collegiate volleyball career, she set the school record in kills.
After graduation, Allen played on the AVP Pro Beach Tour, competing on the circuit from 2006-2021 and earning multiple top-10 finishes. She also coached at the collegiate, high school and club levels for over 15 years.
Allen is married to professional beach volleyball player Billy Allen. Together, they have one son, Ketch.
