Final Stats

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -

The California field hockey team ended its three-game road trip with a 2-0 loss at No. 11 Louisville Sunday afternoon. Erin Schneidtmiller and Tuli Lim tallied the two Cardinal goals. The Golden Bears fell to 2-4 overall, and Louisville improved to 4-3.

Both Cardinal goals were scored in the first half, in the 23rd and 31st minutes, respectively. Karah Nall and Nicole Youman each recorded an assist on the scores.

Sophomore Rachelle Comeau and senior Lisa Lohre posted shots on goal, while junior Erin Magill led Cal with three shots.

Junior Maddie Hand and sophomore Haleh Nourani split time again in this contest. Hand allowed both goals and made five saves, while Nourani tallied four saves in the second half.

The Bears return to Maxwell Family Field Saturday, Sept. 18, against Pacific in a NorPac Conference clash at noon.
