Postgame Notes: Hawai'i 35, California 31

Cal finished the 2025 season with a winning record (7-6) for the first time since going 8-5 in 2019
Cal has played in bowl games in each of the past three seasons
WR Jacob De Jesus finished with nine receptions for 137 yards with one touchdown catch. De Jesus completed the 2025 season with a school-record 108 catches as well as 1,029 yards - giving Cal its first 1,000-yard receiver since Chad Hansen 1,249 yards in 2016.
De Jesus' 108 catches this season are tied for second all-time in a single-season by an ACC receiver.
QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele finished 28-for-39 for a career-high 343 yards passing and one touchdown. Sagapolutele finished his 2025 true freshman season with 3,460 passing yards, which ranks No. 6 on the program's all-time list.
Sagapolutele threw for 200 or more yards in each of his 13 games as a 2025 true freshman and is the only Power 4 and second FBS player to ever record at least 12 straight games of 200 yards or more passing to begin a collegiate career. Houston's David Piland began his career with 14 straight games of 200 or more yards passing spanning the 2010 and 2012 seasons (did not play in 2011).
Sagapolutele completed 288 of 453 passes (63.6 percent) this season with 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions
RB Kendrick Raphael finished the game with 232 rushes for 943 yards with 13 touchdowns. Raphael's 13 rushing touchdowns rank tied for sixth on Cal's all-time list.
ILB Cade Uluave finished with nine tackles to give him career-highs totals in 2025 of 100 tackles.
DL Aidan Keanaaina had one tackle to give him 56 in 13 regular-season games. That's the most in a season by a Cal defensive lineman since Cameron Jordan had 62 in 2010.
RB Anthony League scored his first collegiate touchdown in his first collegiate start.
DL Legend Journey made his first collegiate appearance.
Cal had its string of 24 consecutive games with at least one sack snapped.
Eight Cal players started all 13 games in 2025 (DB Brent Austin, OLB T.J. Bush Jr., ILB Luke Ferrelli, DB Hezekiah Masses, DL Aidan Keanaaina, OL Tyson Ruffins, QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolute, OL Jordan Spasojevic-Moko).
