Men's Tennis Trio Headed To Tulsa
Bears Embark On First ITA Tournament Of The Season
BERKELEY —  After hosting the annual Battle In the Bay Classic last week, the California men's tennis team will head to the ITA Men's All-American Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The tournament, which begins Saturday, will have a draw size of the following:

From the main draws, players will have a chance at earning berths to the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships in November.
Fryderyk Lechno-Wasiutynski will make his season debut for the Golden Bears after returning from the Davis Cup as a Poland representative. He will participate in the singles pre-qualifying alongside teammates Timofey Stepanov and Lenn Luemkemann.Â
Tiago Silva earned a direct entry into singles qualifying and will also partner with
Timofey Stepanov as direct entrants into the doubles main draw. Silva and Stepanov form the No. 7 doubles team in the country according to the latest ITA Doubles Rankings. Last weekend at the Battle in the Bay Classic, the duo finished as finalists, taking down pairs from TCU, Boise State and Michigan State along the way.
