Gator Robinson recorded four hits on the day – including a home run, but the California softball team dropped a pair of games to close out the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic.
Robinson recorded two hits and homered in game one of the Bears doubleheader, but Cal ultimately fell to Auburn 19-5. Cal then dropped a 6-0 decision to No. 6 Nebraska.
Freshman
Sophia Everett provided a late spark off the bench, lacing an RBI triple in the final inning to cap Cal's rally attempt in its game one loss to Auburn.
The Bears (5-11) resume play next week in the Judi Gorman Classic.
