CROSS COUNTRY
2021: Raced in two meets for the Bears… finished the 6k in 22:32.0 at the NCAA West Region Cross Country Championships at the Pac-12 Cross Country Championships, posted a personal-best 6k time of 20:53.2.
2020-2021: Competed in one meet for the Bears, recording a personal best in the 6k at the Pac-12 Championships with a time of 20:53.2.
2019: Appeared in six meets… posted a 6k time of 21:29.5 at the NCAA Division I West Region Cross Country Championships… set a new personal record in the 6k at the Pac-12 Cross Country Championships, posting a time of 21:11.9… ran the 6k in 21:16.6 at the Capital Cross Challenge… helped the women’s team to the title at the USF Invitational, finishing fifth in the 6k with a time of 22:02.4.
2018: Competed in five meets for the Bears and led the team’s scorers twice… at the NCAA Division I West Region Cross Country Championships, finished the 6k in 21:12.6… raced to a 21:19.5 finish in the 6k at the Pac-12 Cross Country Championships… set a PR in the 5k run with a time of 17:50.8 at the Joe Piane – Notre Dame Invitational.
TRACK & FIELD
2022: Raced in six outdoor meets for the Bears… posted a personal-best 1500m time of 4:25.07 at the Big Meet… at the Bryan Clay Invitational, ran the 5000m in 16:31.94, a personal best and good for second place… won the 1500m race at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational with her time of 4:27.72.
2021: Did not compete.
2020 (Indoor): Appeared in one indoor meet… finished the 3k in 9:55.05 at the MPSF Indoor Track & Field Championships.
2019 (Outdoor): Competed in five meets… set a new personal record in the outdoor 5k run with a time of 16:43.67 at the Mt. SAC Relays… at the Big Meet, finished the 1500m in 4:34.09, a personal best… placed seventh in the 1500m run at the Hornet Invitational with a time of 4:34.78.
2019 (Indoor): Appeared in three meets… competed in the mile and the 3k run at the MPSF Indoor Track & Field Championships, where she set a personal record in the latter with her time of 9:53.94… at the Last Chance College Elite, finished the mile run in a personal-best 4:50.92.
HIGH SCHOOL: Finished first in the 1600m run and fourth in the 3200m run at the 2018 California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Central Coast Section (CCS) Finals… qualified for the 2017 Foot Locker West Regionals, where she finished in the top fourth of racers… that year, she placed sixth at the CIF State Cross Country Championships… took third place at the 2017 CCS Finals … finished second at the 2017 Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League (SCCAL) Championships… reached the Foot Locker National Championships in 2016 after placing sixth at the Foot Locker West Regionals… finished fourth at the CIF State Cross Country Championships that year after winning the CCS Championships and taking second at the SCCAL Championships… in the 2016 track & field season, placed fifth in the 1600m run at the CIF CCS Finals… Aptos High School won the 2015 CIF State Cross Country Championships as a team, aided by Zlatunich’s fourth-place finish… finished second at the 2015 CIF CCS Championships… finished second at the 2015 SCCAL Championships… earlier that year, took fourth place in the 1600m competition at the CIF CCS Finals… placed second in the 800m and in the 1600m runs at the SCCAL Finals that year… invited to the 2015 Arcadia Invitational that year, where she placed third with her squad in the 4x1600m relay… competed at the CIF State Cross Country Championships in 2014 after placing second in the CIF CCS Championships.
PERSONAL: Majoring in integrative biology… daughter of Richard Zlatunich and Julie Malcolm.
