With 39 kills, a .350 hitting percentage, 13 digs and a service ace to help the Golden Bears reach the semifinals of the 2007 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Tournament for the first time in program history, outside hitter
Hana Cutura is the Muscle Milk California Student-Athlete of the Week.
Cutura's play against No. 18 Iowa State and No. 2 Nebraska at the Wisconsin Regional also brought the sophomore from Zagred, Croatia, the honor of MVP of the All-Tournament Team over the weekend. Her two-match total of 39 kills came on 80 attacks with only 11 errors (.350).
The Bears take on No. 1-ranked Penn State at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at Arco Arena in Sacramento. Should Cal advance to the national championship, the match would take place Saturday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m. against either No. 4 Stanford or No. 5 USC, also at Arco Arena. Both matches will be televised on ESPNU/ESPN2.
