Biography

Sophomore (2005-06): His "greatest moment in sports" was anchoring Cal's 4x100 meters win in the 2006 Big Meet at Stanford, for which he won the team's Walter Christie Award (outstanding male performance)...ran on Cal's fastest 4x100 meters team (41.17) of the year at the Pac-10 Championships...notched Cal's best 100 meters time of the season (10.94) at the Modesto Relays...selected to the 2006 Pac-10 All-Academic team.
Freshman (2004-05): Picked to the 2005 Pac-10 All-Academic team...in the 400 meters recorded a 49.63 at the Hornet Invitational.

High School: A 2003 graduate of The Branson school in Ross, Calif., Beitashour adds depth to a young and talented sprint group...won NCS Division 5 track championship in the 200 meters his senior year in high school...team captain...school record-holder in 100 meters and 200 meters...also played basketball, soccer and lacrosse.
