Cross Country (2006): Posted his best time (27:56.20) of the season at the USF Invitational (9/2)...also ran a 27:59.10 at the Aggie Open (9/9).
High School: Attended the Punahou School...was the Hawai'i state champion in the 800 meters (2005-06) and league champion in the 800 and 1500 meters (2006)...Interscholastic League of Honolulu first team pick in the 800 and 1500 meters.
Personal: Born in Honolulu, Hawai'i...parents are Peter and Teri Deptula...his father played football for the University of Hawai'i (1985-87)...undeclared major...plays the alto saxophone.
