Sophomore (2007): Set a new PR in the mile at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational (4:16.55)...clocked in at 4:04.20 in the 1500 meters at the Big Meet.
Freshman (2006): Outdoors, ran lifetime bests in the 1500 meters (3:56.92, Hornet Invitational), 3000 (8:51.70, Hornet Invitational) and 5000 (15:33.34, Stanford Invitational). Cross Country: In 2007, claimed 15th place (27:02) at the San Francisco State Invitational and clocked in at 25:26 at the Pac-10 championships...did not compete in 2006...redshirted the 2005 season.
High School: Graduated from Piner High School in Santa Rosa, Calif., where he earned MVP in 2001, 2002 and 2003...also lettered in soccer.
