High School: Attended Indio High School … Was a three-time league champion in the 300m hurdles (2009-11), two-time league champion in team competition (2009 and 2011) … Named Indio HS Athlete of the Year … Division 2 CIF 1600m relay champion … Set school records in the 110m hurdles (14.17), 300m hurdles (38.20) and 1600m relay (3:17.21) … Also played football for three years, as well as basketball for one.
