BERKELEY – California reminded their northeastern foes what it means to be in Bear Territory on Tuesday.

Back at home for the first time in nearly two weeks, the Golden Bears delivered a 3-0 showing, their fifth shutout of the season, to Lehigh at Levine-Fricke Field.

The meeting was scoreless through four innings, before the Bears were able to jump on the boards in the bottom of the fifth.
Vanessa Alvarez got Cal its first runner of the half on base after being walked. She stole second and the found home on
Khala Taylor's RBI double for Cal's first run. Taylor rounded the bases and scored on an RBI single by freshman
Bradie Fillmore.

Jazmyn Jackson sealed things with her first homer of the season in the bottom of the sixth to round out the day. Interestingly, Jackson collected a home run against Indiana, but the game was called early due to rain so the run could not be credited.

Cal gets right back in it tomorrow hosting No. 7 Minnesota (22-2) at 4 p.m. (PT) at Levine-Fricke Field. It will be the Bears first ranked opponent at home. The last time out, the Golden Gophers downed the
