Arguably Cal’s best volleyball player ever, Lloyd is the only Golden Bear to be named National Player of the Year. She took the nation’s top honor in 2010, when she led Cal to the NCAA title match. One of only two Cal volleyball players to participate in two NCAA Final Fours, Lloyd was a three-time All-American who also guided the Bears to two NCAA Elite Eight appearances. A member of the U.S National Team program since leaving Cal, Lloyd was named the most valuable player of the 2015 Pan Am Games, where Team USA captured the gold medal.
