An up-and-comer in Canadian rowing, Filmer took second place at both the 2015 World Rowing U23 Championships and 2014 World Junior Rowing Championships. She’s also made appearances in the World Cup and Youth Olympics.  At Cal, Filmer helped the Varsity 8 win the 2015 Pac-12 championship and finish second at the NCAA Championships. Filmer took the 2016 off from Cal to train with the Canadian Natioanl Team.
