Returned to action for the Bears in 2017-18 and competed in a variety of events as a redshirt sophomore.
Ranked in the team's top 10 in the 50 free (eighth, 20.39), 100 back (sixth, 47.20) and 200 back (seventh, 1:44.76).
Competed in the 50 free, 100 back and 200 back at the 2018 Pac-12 Championships.
Got his collegiate career started as a freshman in 2015-16, competing in the sprint freestyle events as well as the backstroke.
Set season bests in the 50 free (20.73), 100 back (47.30) and 200 back (1:45.80) at the 2016 Pac-12 Championships.
Set his season best in the 100 free (45.73) at the Georgia Invitational.

High School/Club/National Success:

Native of Westlake Village, Calif. attended Westlake High School where he was third in the 100 backstroke at the 2014 CIF Southern Section Division I championship meet.
Also competed for Class Aquatics and coach Steve Reardon in Camarillo, Calif.
Won the B-final of the 100-meter backstroke at the 2014 Junior Nationals in 56.58. Also had long course times of 23.80 in the 50 free and 52.55 in the 100 free.
