Cal Success:

Made Cal debut as a freshman in 2017-18 and competed on all three boards for the Golden Bears.
Set a season-high mark of 279.90 in the 3-meter on Jan. 19, 2018 against Arizona State. One day later, set his season-high in the 1-meter with a score of 242.85 against Arizona.
Season-best in the Platform of 249.65 came Jan. 14, 2018 at the Bruin Diving Invitational.

High School/Club/National Success:

Native of Westerville, Ohio attended Westerville North High School and competed for Ohio State Dive Club.
Set school records in both his junior and senior years at Westerville North.
Recorded personal bests of 303.75 in the 6-dive competition and 511.25 in the 11-dive competition.
Served as team captain as a senior.
Placed 28th in prelims at the 2017 U.S. Diving Nationals.
Also participated in cross country and track.
Accomplished student was a seven-time scholar-athlete at Westerville North. Was also Senior Class President and earned both the AP Award of Distinction and the Academic Excellence Award.

Personal:

Parents are Michelle and Richard Kloos. Has three siblings, Michael, Jacqueline and Natalie.
Intends to study Business Administration at Cal with a future goal of earning an MBA.
