Cross Country: Ran in the first two races of the season...earned a 12th-place finish (26:36) at the San Francisco Invitational...clocked in at 26:11 at the Stanford Invitational.

High School: Recorded a 9:24 in the 3200 as a junior and finished 18th at the state meet for Jesuit High School...ran a 15:26 in the 5000...high school was state champions in cross country in 2005 and 2006...team MVP in cross country in 2006...won section title for cross country in 2006...won track section title in the 3200 meters in 2005...Jesuit high took seventh in 2005 and fourth in 2006 at Nike Team nationals...honor roll all 4 years...awarded the Volunteer award for most hours as a freshman and senior.
