Cal Success:

• One of Cal's more versatile contributors did a little of everything for the Bears in 2016. Competed in the 500 free, 1,000 free, 100 and 200 back as well as the 200 IM.
• Competed in the 500 free, 400 IM and 200 back at the 2016 NCAA Championships, earning his highest finish in the 400 IM with a 19th-place swim.
• Had the team's third-fastest time in the 400 IM in 2016 with a 3:43.37 at the Pac-12 Championships.
• Had Cal's fourth-best time in the 200 backstroke in 2015 (1:42.26) as well as the third-best time in the 400 IM (3:43.32) and fifth-best in the 500 freestyle (4:21.42).
• Qualified for the 2015 NCAA championships as just a freshman and competed in the 200 backstroke, 400 IM and 500 freestyle.
• Took bronze in the 400 IM at the 2015 Pac-12 Championships with a time of 3:42.23. Also finished 11th in the 200 backstroke and 15th in the 500 freestyle.

High School/Club/National Success:

• Attended Boston College High School in Boston, Mass.
• Was a member of the U.S. National Team in the 200 backstroke and placed fifth in the 200 back at the 2014 Phillips 66 National Championships.
• Swam for the Bluefish Swim Club and was part of the U.S. Junior National team during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons.
• Won bronze in the 200 backstroke at the 2013 Junior World Championships in Dubai.
