Biography
Cal Success:
- Was limited to select competitions in 2016 and 2017 due to injury.
- Contributed immediately in his first year at Cal, qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the platform in 2015. Placed seventh in the event at the Zone E Championships in Colorado Springs, Colo. to become the first Cal diver since Sam Helvie (2008) to qualify for NCAAs.
- Placed fourth in the platform at the Texas Diving Invitational as a freshman.
High School/National/Club Success:
- Attended Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio, Texas where he was a four-time Texas High School state champion (4A).
- Also competed for the San Antonio Divers club team. Placed eighth on the one-meter board (505.90) at the 2013 USA Diving Junior National Championships.
- Won bronze at the 2013 Pan American Games in the three-meter synchronized diving competition.
